The Daily Outsider

The new year has begun in earnest and our team has been on the prowl assessing our worldwide focus. Here in the United States, there is the lingering partial shutdown of the Federal Government due to disputes over border funding. This is as the US Presidential Campaign has begun in earnest with Senator Elizabeth Warren being the first to enter the fray--followed by at least 20 others we are tracking. There is also the Syria Withdrawal that led to the Resignation of the Secretary of Defense (and we published the Secretary's resignation letter in our Perspectives Property). Beyond the shores of the United States, there is the continued challenge of the UK Exiting the European Union--The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, put on a Pro-EU fire works that was quite a scene. We have also been assessing the latest out of Iran in the aftermath of the new Budget presented by The Rouhani Administration that has seen considerable reductions in Health, Education and Welfare while boosting the budget for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp--which led to the resignation of the Health Minister. It is bound to be quite a first week of 2019 no doubt.....
